New Renderings for SkyRise Miami Reveal Thrilling Attractions and Brilliant Views: Now, that a few months separate us from the realization of SkyRise Miami, new renderings of the city’s new tallest towers have been released. The renderings reveal the multiple entertainment facilities housed by the 1,000-foot-high building. Miami-based international firm Arquitectonica designed the tower to be a “Vertical Entertainment Center”. It includes typical facilities like banquet halls, ballrooms, observation decks, and performance venues. However, the tower’s most anticipated attractions are those which make from its extremely tall façade an adrenaline-inducing playground.
With Sky Plunge, visitors get to have a bungee jumping experience by free-falling, while tied to a chord, from a 462-foot-height with a speed that reaches up to 55mph. Then, there is Sky Drop which does a kind of similar job, but users get to “drop” with a speed of 95mph while sitting on a ride that runs on a vertical rail.
Arquitectonica designed the tower, also, to make use of its tremendous height by providing visitors with numerous observation facilities and scenic viewpoints. One of these facilities is “Sky Way” which is a series of spherical glass pods attached to rails on one façade of the tower. These pods provide exceptional rotating views of the city.
There are many other attractions which combine the thrilling experience with dashing city views like the 4D Flying Theater, Sky Ledge, and Sky Glide. Here, check this video for more.
SkyRise Miami is developed by Berkowitz Development Group. The project started in 2013, and it will be completed by the end of this year.
