Sometimes simplicity holds the most… This lamp designed by Antonio Arico blurs the line between what is felt and held with what is seen. The crisp yet soft lines create a form that is both functional (how many times have you gone to grab a normal table lamp and had it slip because of its ungainly bulge?) and beautiful. The handle seems to be something totally at place both in the form and in the idea of what a lamp is and does. We turn on a light to make our lives easier. Bonjour Bajour seems to acknowledge this and makes a conscious effort to go a step further.
And one more thing. I’m getting a little hyperbolic in my description, I know, but the photo of it lit darkness makes me expect to find it growing next to a tree in some mystical forest for designers. I want to see the forest from this tree.
