Domino Starry Night | FlippyCat

This is just one of those things that is inspiring to watch take shape and then work. It is Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night executed in 7,067 falling dominos. The really interesting thing is to see how the set up of the dominos leads to the whole painting. Towers of dominos were used to throw pieces, filling in the swaths and swirls. This gives the work a really interesting depth- much more so than if everything had been on a single plane, only knocking dominos down in the usual way. It is created by the artist FlippyCat.
