Dream cars | High Museum of Art

The High Museum of Art, located in Atlanta/Georgia/USA will exhibit innovative “dream cars” hailing from Europe & USA, on behalf of a major exhibition displaying innovation in automotive custom-design. These automotives will represent some of the most extraordinary, ingenious vehicles by Ferrari, Bugatti, General Motors (GM) and Porsche, from early 1930s until the twenty-first century.

‘This exhibition presents 17 historic four-wheeled fantasies that push the envelopes of automotive styling, engineering and design to impressive heights. Visual and tactile tributes to ingenuity and imagination, these remarkable cars will intrigue visitors with their audacity, just as they did when they first appeared,” said Ken Gross, automotive consulting curator for “dream cars”.

The current exposition will incorporate every minutiae of legitimate concept drawings and diverse scale models along the side of realized cars. This highlights simultaneously the technique in which their exploratory visualizations have transformed the automobile from an “object of function” to an indication of the future.
