Find the Animals in the Moiré Patterns Andrea Minini
Using the Moiré pattern, graphic designer Andrea Minini from Milan, Italy, creates beautiful illustrations of animals.
This practice is commonly found in physics, mathematics and art as a method of superimposing two identical transparent patterns on a flat or curved surface with one slightly displaces underneath.
In Andrea Minini’s case, she layers a series of curved lines with varying thicknesses and offsets over one another in order to evoke the shapes of animals in the illusions.
