Flying Houses | Laurent Chéhère in partnership with Galerie Paris-Beijing

The French photographer Laurent Chéhère in partnership with Galerie Paris-Beijing displayed the “Flying Houses” series utilizing photography and digital manipulation. Buildings were isolated from their urban context and not showing their identities so all you see is houses hovering in the air by means of supernatural or magical power just like flying kites in the clouds.

Inspired by a poetic version of old Paris and affected by movies such as ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ by Hayao Miyazaki, ‘Le Balon Rouge’ by Albert Lamorisse; the images are leaving the observer eager to know different details (graffiti i, writing, character, window, reference to a movie or a musician…).
