Snohetta Studio’s proposals was chosen as an iconic structure for the Donostialdea metro-station entrances. The Basque Government was looking for a stricking design that draws attention to the entrance and adds interest to the neighborhood.
The coral-like stainless steel and glass design is inspired by the sea and starts off as a roof for the entrance then moves to form the transit systems ceiling.
