The Spanish street artist, Okuda San Miguel has again painted an old church, now dedicated to the consumption of cannabis, with its geometric and colorful creations. Okuda painted the massive, vivid interior of the 112-year-old church. The exact shades of paint he required were difficult to come by in Denver, but his hard work paid off.
Now known as the International Church of Cannabis, this former church in Denver has been transformed into a sanctuary for cannabis smokers, offering consumers a place of peace and meditation in order to achieve their spiritual goal in serenity. The space also boasts a patio and multi-use art gallery, now full of collectibles and vintage art-deco pieces. The International Church of Cannabis is the third church painted by Okuda after the Kaos Temple project, a skate park in a church, and 11 Mirages to the Freedom. I also invite you to discover the previous creations of Okuda.
