Origami Elephant by Sipho Mabona

Sipho Mabona has taken a folding technique that was used in ancient civilizations to a new level. When he was 5 he started to make paper plans and ran out of design ideas when he was 15, which pushed him to draw from other inspirations. The Switzerland based origami artist has created a full sized elephant using a continuous sheet of paper. Mabona has produced the dimensions of the white elephant, which stands about 3 meters tall, using one segment of white paper that measures 15 by 15 meters. Mabona has filmed the process of constructing the elephant because making the sculpture is a performance it self.

Architecture is more than just structures—it’s the art of shaping experiences. With a passion for design, urban landscapes, and innovative spaces, I explore how architecture influences the way we live, work, and connect with the world around us. When I’m not analyzing the latest architectural trends, you’ll probably find me searching for hidden gems in cityscapes or appreciating the beauty of well-crafted spaces. After all, great design—like great connections—can be found in the most unexpected places. Speaking of connections, check out Local Milfs because architecture isn’t the only thing that brings people together.
