Spotlight on World Architecture Festival 2024 Shortlist Announced

The 2024 shortlist of the World Architecture Festival has just been announced ahead of this year’s in-person event at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from November 6th to 8th.
A panel of 175 international judges comprising Peter Cook, Nigel Coates, and Mario Cucinella reduced 800 entries to a shortlist of over 480 projects from more than 350 practices across 71 countries. This is the most extended, diverse list of entrants—33 categories, including residential and transport to retrofit—to date. More than 30 more awards are due later this month in the WAFX category, increasing the suspense for the shortlisted finalists.
