Crafted with precision from ceramic and sapphire crystal, these timepieces showcase Rado’s artistry and commitment to innovation. The True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier watches are available in three captivating variants, each bearing the distinctive blend of Rado’s True Square and True Thinline designs.
One of these exquisite watches is a striking all-black rendition, celebrating Rado’s pioneering ceramic color. The other two models exhibit Le Corbusier’s color theory in action. The first combines shades of grey-brown and cream-white, while the second boasts a captivating blend of iron grey and “slightly greyed English green.” These color choices draw inspiration from Le Corbusier’s Architectural Polychromy, a revolutionary color theory comprising 63 harmonious shades created in 1931 and later expanded in 1959.

Rado’s CEO, Adrian Bosshard, emphasizes the parallel between Le Corbusier’s architectural vision and Rado’s design philosophy. Both visionaries understand the profound impact of shape and color on their respective crafts, making this collaboration a natural fit.
The limited edition True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier watches, with only 999 units of each, are a testament to the partnership between Rado and Le Couleurs Suisse, the licensing authority for Le Corbusier’s palette. Each watch proudly features Le Corbusier’s color strips, his signature “Polychromie Architecturale,” and the “Limited Edition one of 999” engraving on sapphire crystal.

Visitors had the opportunity to marvel at a life-sized model of a Le Corbusier-designed apartment adorned with the vibrant colors from his Architectural Polychromy palette. In addition to these remarkable watches, Rado introduced a collector’s box that includes the iconic black True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier watch alongside eight round Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier watches from the existing collection.
