“Just the two of us” is an artwork of the German artist Katharina Gross that can be seen in downtown Brooklyn. That amazing sculpture that forms the urban space in the parks engages with the surrounding like a strong painting where the lines are obvious and the relations are direct.
The forms add a colorful taste to the space leaving an impact on the landscape. This piece of art is made of eighteen fiber glass- coated forms. The art work is presented by (http://www.publicartfund.org/) Public art fund focus on the relationship between art and public space.
Nicholas Baume, public art fund director & chief curator said: ‘katharina grosse’s hybrid approach to painting and sculpture feels very natural in the context of a public space at the center of a thriving urban area where culture, technology, and innovation intersect.’
So, as you can see, art is the core of everything around us. It’s always influenced by nature. What can we expect from mixing art and engaging it with nature making it live. Fore sure a tremendous experience !
